Meet Rachel

Thank you for being here!

My journey into the birth world started the year I became pregnant with my first daughter. Very early on in my pregnancy, I was overwhelmed at the thought of childbirth. I was afraid of how painful it might be, if I’d feel out of control, along with all the unknowns and stories I had been told. My fears and anxieties drove me deep into researching. I started listening to birth podcasts, reading evidence-based information on childbirth, learning about my body, and reading books that focused on physiological birth. I was blown away at the miracle of birth and what my body was capable of. During all of this researching, I came across the HypnoBirthing method. The HypnoBirthing program helped me to see birth as a normal life event that I could look forward to with joy. It gave me tools to navigate labor without fear, and it gave me knowledge and trust of my body and what it was designed to do.

When I got pregnant the second time, I was excited and confident as I prepared for birth again. I loved being a resource for women in their own birth preparation, and I found myself talking about birth all the time and continuing to learn. I loved it so much that after my second daughter was born, I became a birth doula. While starting to work with families, I spent hours creating childbirth education material to teach to my clients. God has called me to many things, but none stir my soul like teaching does. So I decided to pursue a certified progam and become a HypnoBirthing Childbirth educator, putting the on-call life to the side for a while to be more present at home.

It is my heartfelt desire for every woman and family I serve to have a peaceful, supported, and informed prenatal and birth experience. I would LOVE to support you during this special time. Birth is truly magical and I would feel honored to be a part of your journey!

My Birth philosophy:

  • A woman’s body is naturally designed to labor and give birth efficiently when she feels secure and supported. When the birth process is allowed to unfold without unnecessary interventions, it tends to lead to the most positive outcomes for both mother and baby.

  • I believe childbirth is a sacred and spiritual journey. It holds deep significance for both you and your baby, deserving respect, preparation, and mindful care. Your birth should be a transformative and special experience.

  • Your mindset about birth profoundly shapes how you will experience it. Your mind—both conscious and subconscious—holds incredible power to influence your body and spirit. When it’s aligned with trust, faith, and positive expectation, it becomes one of the most powerful tools you carry into birth.

  • "My birthing experience would not have been the same without Rachel by my side.

From the first conversation, I knew I was in good hands—she was really informative, walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident in my birth plan. What stood out the most was her ability to create a comfortable, calming environment. Whether it was offering physical comfort or emotional reassurance, she always knew exactly what to do. Her support was unwavering throughout the whole process, and I genuinely felt like she was there for me, not just as a doula, but as someone who truly cared about my experience. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel as comfortable as you would with a best friend—while also being a calming, knowledgeable presence—she’s what you need. Highly recommend!” - Cierra S.

  • "Having Rachel as my support was the best decision I made.

She was there every step of my pregnancy. I was extremely nervous, but she calmed all my nerves and made me feel at ease. Especially when my birth plan didnt go the way I imagined, she made sure to advocate for me at the hospital and still provided the support I needed to ensure my baby was delivered safely. Plus, she is one of the kindest souls I have met. And she provides resources throughout your pregnancy and after. She is there for you and let’s you know you are not alone. I am so glad to have met Rachel!” - Serena Y.
